The Spitex organisations Regio Liestal, Waldenburgertal, Thürnen-Diepflingen and upper Homburgertal jointly ensure nursing care during the night. The Regional Night Service is managed by Spitex Regio Liestal.
Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH – Regional Night Service
What to expect from us
- Plannable flexibility: You work approximately 5–8 nights per month. The duty roster is arranged within a small team and agreed upon together.
- Independence with support: You work autonomously and have a direct professional contact person during the night.
- Time for good care: Our night rounds allow you to work independently with little time pressure.
- Well supported start: We carefully introduce you to your tasks and the Regional Night Service.
- Attractive allowances: You receive CHF 10.– per hour night allowance as well as CHF 10.– per hour for on-call duty. For shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, an additional allowance of CHF 10.– per hour applies.
- Well compensated on the road: For journeys with your own car, you receive CHF 0.70 per kilometre.
- A small team: You coordinate easily with each other and support one another.
Your tasks at night
You competently care for clients in their homes. Your round usually lasts from about 9:30 pm to 4:00 am. Afterwards, you provide on-call duty from home until 7:00 am.
In doing so, you take responsibility for nursing situations during the night, support and advise relatives if needed, and professionally assist your FaGe colleague on tour as a qualified nursing specialist.
What you bring:
- Diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH or an equivalent tertiary-level qualification
- Enjoyment of independent and responsible work
- Confidence and flexibility in dealing with different people and situations
- Willingness to be on the road at night and to find your way in different households
- Category B driving licence and own car
