About the position
As a polymechanic, you are part of a prototype workshop and systems engineering in the high-performance laboratory Baden. In an interdisciplinary environment, you work on various tasks and apply your technical skills in a dynamic and varied working environment. You are responsible for manufacturing components for test devices and plant components and support the maintenance of operational equipment.
What you can achieve
Manufacture of components for test devices and plant components based on sketches and production drawings
Creation of CAD drawings and 3D models
Operation and programming of conventional as well as CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines
Carrying out mechanical processing such as turning, milling, drilling as well as reworking of components
Execution of sawing, shearing and bending work
Performing welding and soldering work as well as willingness to further develop these skills
Collaboration in the prototype workshop and close cooperation with development, systems engineering and maintenance
Ensuring the maintenance of operational equipment including documentation
What you bring with you
Completed training as a polymechanic or a comparable technical education
Experience in manufacturing components according to sketches and technical drawings
Sound knowledge in operating and programming conventional as well as CNC-controlled machines
Experience in creating CAD drawings and models; CAM knowledge is an advantage
Manual dexterity as well as experience in mechanical processing methods; knowledge in welding and soldering is a plus
Team spirit, initiative and flexibility as well as enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary and dynamic environment
