Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG, Goldach is a company of Amcor Limited, one of the world’s largest suppliers of responsible packaging solutions. With around 300 employees, we refine aluminium foils and other materials into recyclable packaging materials. We are looking for an experienced operations electrician (m/f/d) for our maintenance team, starting immediately or by arrangement.
What to expect with us
- Independent fault finding and rectification of electrical faults on production equipment and infrastructure systems
- Maintenance, repair and servicing of electrical and automated systems
- Analysis of fault causes and implementation of sustainable solutions
- Participation in machine overhauls, retrofits and technical modifications
- Optimisation and further development of existing systems and controls
- Support of controls, sensors, drives and other electrical systems
- Conducting electrical tests and maintaining the corresponding test protocols
- Independent planning and organisation of maintenance work
- Collaboration with engineering, mechanics, production and external specialist companies
What you bring with you
- Completed vocational training as an automation technician, electromechanic, electrical installer or a comparable electrical engineering qualification
- Professional experience in industrial maintenance is an advantage
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering and confident handling of electrical schematics
- Knowledge of Siemens S7 / TIA Portal is an advantage – alternatively willingness to further train in this area
- Good technical understanding and a structured approach to fault finding
- Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
- Enjoyment of teamwork and willingness to take responsibility
- The work is generally carried out during normal working hours. Occasionally, shifts in the late or night shift as well as on-call duties are required.
