With the hotels Säntis, Hecht and Löwen, we operate three different establishments in the centre of Appenzell. The Hotel Säntis is located directly on the historic Landsgemeindeplatz, while the other houses are situated on the picturesque main street. We are an owner-managed business with around 50 employees who work across disciplines.

This offers you a varied workplace: You are part of a team that covers everything from classic restaurant operations to banquets and celebrations, as well as professional seminar services. Your tasks
 

• Warm welcome: You greet our hotel guests and ensure they feel immediately welcome.
• Guest care: You accompany our guests through the morning and serve them attentively during the breakfast service.
• Buffet: You are responsible for setting up and clearing away, always ensuring a tidy, inviting breakfast buffet.
• Preparation: You prepare breakfast for the next day, including placing the internal order.
• Orderliness: Together we ensure cleanliness in the dining area and carry out any necessary tidying tasks.
• Working hours: 06:15 - maximum 11:30/12:00

Your profile
 

• Experience: Ideally, you bring prior experience in service; however, we also welcome motivated career changers.
• Personality: You are a service-oriented, warm and positive person who enjoys interacting with guests.
• Appearance: A neat appearance and good manners are a matter of course for you.
• Languages: You have good German skills for communication with our guests.
• Flexibility: You are flexible with your time and willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
