This is the job - Your main tasks

• Consulting financial services companies on the technological development and optimisation of their processes for the prevention and combating of financial crime, especially in the areas of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

• Design and architecture of modern technology solutions considering data models, interfaces (APIs), workflow technologies and AI-supported decision processes

• Translating regulatory and professional requirements into viable solution concepts, holistic target images as well as clearly defined professional and technical requirements

• Supporting implementation and transformation projects throughout the entire project lifecycle – from solution design through implementation and testing to training and successful deployment

• Identification, design and further development of concrete AI use cases, including for risk assessments, alert triage, customer screening and document analyses

This job is for you if...

• a completed degree in business informatics, computer science, data science, banking & finance, economics, law or a comparable field forms the professional basis

• relevant experience in the financial industry, consulting or technology projects around compliance, financial crime, RegTech, data analysis, automation, system integration or AI is present

• regulatory and professional requirements can be confidently linked with technology, data and AI and translated into viable, implementable solutions

• technical concepts such as data flows, APIs, cloud and platform architectures, machine learning, GenAI or workflow solutions are understood and can be communicated appropriately to the audience

• confident communication in German and English as well as the ability to mediate securely between compliance, business units, IT, data teams and management are brought along

As the icing on the cake you bring

• practical experience with AI, GenAI or machine learning applications in compliance, risk or banking environments, for example in alert triage, document analysis or customer risk assessment

• knowledge in data analysis, SQL, Python, BI tools, process mining, API concepts or technical business analysis

• experience with compliance and banking platforms, workflow solutions as well as screening or monitoring systems

• practical experience in requirements engineering, testing and agile delivery models

• understanding of regulatory requirements for technology and AI, such as model risks, explainability, data protection, governance, control frameworks and auditability
