Team Leader of Instrument Technicians, 80-100%
Your tasks – our position
As team leader of the instrument technicians in the operating theatre, you are responsible for organising, coordinating and leading this team to ensure optimal patient care and the smooth running of operations.
- Leading, supporting and assisting team members
- Organising schedules and managing human resources in the sector
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety and quality protocols
- Working closely with the interdisciplinary operating theatre team, surgeons, anaesthetists, nursing teams, sterilisation and logistics
- Participating in the continuous improvement of operating theatre practices and processes
- Managing surgical equipment and monitoring devices
- Contributing to the development of the team’s skills
Your skills – our expectations
- Diploma as a surgical instrument nurse or equivalent recognised training
- Proven experience in the operating theatre
- Experience in team management or strong managerial skills would be an asset
- Organisational skills, leadership and excellent interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage priorities and work in a demanding environment
- Mastery of hygiene and safety standards in the operating theatre
- Very good knowledge of German and ability to communicate in French
- Team spirit, cooperative attitude and motivation to develop the instrument technicians team
