Arxada in Visp offers an exciting apprenticeship as an Electrician EFZ starting on 01.08.2027. 

As an Electrician, you are responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical installations, building automation and communication systems. You assemble control cabinets, programme small controllers and building automation systems. During your training, you will learn to test and commission electrical systems. In maintenance, you troubleshoot faults and repair devices.

The training lasts four years. Practical training is completed by Electricians at the training company, supplemented by inter-company courses. Vocational school takes up about one day per week on average. In the first half of the apprenticeship, a broad foundation of knowledge and skills is laid, with a focus on manufacturing technology, switching and measuring technology, and microcomputer technology. In the second half of the training, specialised training takes place in operational fields. During this phase, trainees deepen their knowledge and skills through practical learning on production orders and projects.
