About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11,000 inpatient and 90,000 outpatient patients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
We are seeking a specialist from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement who wishes to continue and further develop our ZämeHalt offer together with the team.
ZämeHalt is a development- and attachment-oriented group therapeutic offer for children and adolescents with refugee experiences and psychological burdens. In a reliable group setting, relationships, exchange and individual development are promoted. The offer is anchored in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service and enables transitions to further therapeutic offers if needed. ZämeHalt has been developed over recent years together with our cooperation partner, the Family Help association, and is continuously further developed.
ZämeHalt Management
What Awaits You
- You take on the professional and personnel leadership of the ZämeHalt team and promote a common development- and attachment-oriented approach.
- You co-lead two ZämeHalt groups together with the respective co-group leaders – one group for female and one for male adolescents – thus remaining directly connected to therapeutic practice. The therapeutic leadership of the girls' group requires a female occupant of this position.
- You coordinate the offer and ensure reliable organisational and administrative processes together with the team.
- You shape collaboration with families, schools, social services and other network partners and represent ZämeHalt within and outside the CAPD.
- You work with Family Help within the framework of supervision, concept development and professional advancement.
- You bring practical experience, feedback from the network and changing needs into the further professional and conceptual development of ZämeHalt.
What You Bring to Us
- Completed training in social work, social pedagogy, psychology, medicine or a comparable psychosocial profession
- Experience working with children, adolescents and families
- Interest in development- and attachment-oriented as well as group therapeutic work
- Enjoyment in combining therapeutic, organisational and leadership tasks
- Independent, structured and responsible working style as well as good cooperation and communication skills
- Experience working with people with flight and migration backgrounds as well as in group work or group therapy is an advantage
- Leadership experience is welcome; equally important is the willingness to take on leadership responsibility and to further develop the management function together with the offer
