In Research & Development (R&D), we pursue questions from forensic psychology, organizational psychology, social sciences, and criminal and measures law in interdisciplinary teams. All our research and development projects are highly application-oriented and have immediate practical relevance. Current topics include, for example, the prison climate in the correctional institutions of the canton of Zurich, the effectiveness of recidivism-preventive interventions in criminal and measures enforcement, or the psychological stress of incarcerated persons and their health care.
R&D is embedded in Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) and part of the Directorate of Justice and the Interior of the canton of Zurich. More information about us and our work can be found at Research in Correctional Services | Canton of Zurich.
From September 1, 2026 (or by arrangement), we are looking for an intern for 6 months.
This is your field of activity
- You will work on our application-oriented research and development projects
- You will support systematic literature searches on topics currently occupying us
- You will assist in study planning, data collection, and data analysis
- You will help prepare internal reports and presentations
- Occasionally co-organize an internal event or a function? That is also possible with us
This is what you bring
- You are studying psychology in a master's program (or will soon complete your bachelor's degree)
- You enjoy working scientifically and have initial experience in statistical data analysis and systematic literature research
- You are interested in correctional topics related to psychology, psychiatry, and criminology and enjoy interdisciplinary work
- You are enthusiastic and eager to learn something new every day. You love it when things run smoothly and want to be deployed flexibly. You are proactive and can organize yourself and your workday well
- You have native-level German skills both spoken and written and good English skills
