Job description
The Mandement nursing homes group several institutions. The Villa and the Mandement Residence, both in Satigny, are part of this and accommodate 75 residents. The first hosts 30 residents who are not of AHV age and suffer from psychological or psychiatric disorders, the other hosts 45 residents of AHV age. Our philosophy is based on multidisciplinary collaboration.
The housekeeping service consists of the cleaning, hotel and laundry sectors. It maintains close links with the technical service and the kitchen brigade (Eldora). The team consists of about 20 people.
For this service, we are looking for a housekeeper on a permanent contract between 80% and 100%, with a start date to be agreed.
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Successfully achieve the service objectives defined jointly with the general management;
- Exercise leadership in the service of the teams and instil a positive and motivating spirit;
- Ensure the management and allocation of team members and material resources according to workload and needs;
- Assume various managerial tasks: team management, communication, performance reviews, absence monitoring, etc.;
- Occasionally participate in various service tasks to support the teams;
- Work in a multidisciplinary way with other EMS teams to ensure optimal support for residents;
- Maintain respectful and warm contact with residents and their relatives;
- Organise and participate in institutional events: family celebrations, Christmas, etc., which may take place at weekends;
- Ensure warm and seasonally appropriate decoration;
- Monitor the general condition of the premises, stock and orders;
- Organise and participate in various conferences.
Profile sought
YOU HAVE
- A certificate in hospitality or equivalent;
- Leadership, interpersonal skills, creativity and emotional intelligence;
- Proven experience in team management;
- Confirmed experience (minimum 2 to 5 years) in a nursing home;
- Good adaptability, organisational skills and stress management;
- A solutions-oriented approach and good ability to lead change;
- Proven experience in team planning (time management), knowledge of Polypoint is a plus.
