The Department of Economic Affairs is in tune with the economy and currently employs 650 staff. They work in the General Secretariat, Office for Public Transport, Cantonal Forestry Office, Agricultural Office, Office for Nature, Hunting and Fisheries, Office for Economy and Labour, as well as the Office for Data and Statistics. The General Secretariat provides central services for the entire Department of Economic Affairs, including in the areas of law, HR management, finance, and IT.
