We are looking for immediate start or by arrangement:

Product Manager 80-100%

In this varied role, you support the Head of Package Tours in planning, calculating, marketing and further developing our travel portfolio. You accompany the trips from the initial idea through purchasing and pricing to ongoing analysis and optimisation of the offers.

• Product Portfolio: Selection, planning and annual further development of the package tour offer including rolling control (additional departures, cancellations, annulments)
• Purchasing & Contracts: Cooperation with agencies, hotels, restaurants and other service providers; negotiation and maintenance of conditions
• Calculation & Pricing: Calculation of package prices taking into account target margins and market environment
• Product Documents: Writing and updating catalogue texts, website descriptions and detailed programmes
• Product Training: Informing and training sales about new and existing trips
• Performance Management: Analysis of occupancy, margins and driver and customer feedback; initiation of improvement measures
• Marketing Coordination: Coordination with marketing to promote the right trips; provision of relevant information
• Market & Trend Monitoring: Monitoring competitors, destinations and demand developments
• Product Innovation: Development of new travel ideas as well as further development of existing products based on customer feedback and experiences from past trips

• Experience in product management, tour operating or a comparable function
• Good knowledge of calculation, pricing and economic control
• Structured, reliable and independent working style; ability to manage several parallel-running products, deadlines and partner processes in a structured and reliable manner
• Clear, precise communication with internal interfaces and external service providers
• Negotiation skills in dealing with service providers and agencies
• Tourism know-how; strong affinity for travel, destinations and tourism trends
• Confident use of Office tools and digital systems; high administrative accuracy and efficient working in IT-supported processes
• Very good German skills; additional languages are an advantage
