The Energy Solutions Directorate develops comprehensive offers that combine consulting, planning, execution, maintenance, and operation. It is also the central contact point for major projects, energy efficiency and energy automation, electrical engineering, facility management, and innovation.
As a Project Lead Engineer, you contribute to the successful implementation of demanding hydropower projects. You solve diverse technical challenges related to the installation, renovation, overhaul, and modernisation of hydraulic plants and equipment in Switzerland.
Tasks :
- Acquisition of mandates and management of projects in the field of hydropower plants in Switzerland, with the aim of developing optimal technical solutions;
- Conducting studies for complete machines or individual machine components (from conception to commissioning) in the mechanical field or in the area of control and regulation technology of hydropower plants;
- Participation in assessments and expert reports in the field of hydropower for both Groupe E and external clients, as well as developing suitable technical solutions for the renovation and modernisation of existing plants;
- Preparation of project planning and monitoring of the projects you are responsible for regarding compliance with requirements, budget, and scheduled deadlines.
Profile :
- University degree as a FH engineer in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification;
- Very good knowledge of French, both spoken and written;
- Interest in the design of mechanical or welded steel construction components as well as control and regulation systems, ideally in the field of hydropower;
- Interdisciplinary knowledge in the development and design of large mechanical plants and equipment.
