In this position, you will shape the development of demanding timber construction projects from the acquisition phase and thus lay the foundation for their successful implementation. You combine your technical timber construction knowledge with economic thinking, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and develop convincing solutions together with specialist planners and clients. You take on a central role between project development, costing, and realisation and contribute significantly to the success of future construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the development and management of timber construction projects during the acquisition phase
Analysis of client requirements and development of technical and economic solution approaches
Contribution of sound timber construction know-how in concept, planning, and decision-making processes
Collaboration with architects, specialist planners, and interdisciplinary experts to develop optimal project solutions
Leadership and coordination of internal project teams across all acquisition phases
Preparation of costings and budget calculations for timber construction projects and ensuring an economic project basis
Support in client meetings and presentation of technical concepts
Accompanying projects from the initial idea to handover to the implementation teams
Active participation in shaping standards and further developing timber construction expertise within the company
Qualifications:
Completed training as a timber construction foreman, timber construction technician, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in project management in timber or structural engineering
Sound knowledge in planning, costing, and implementation of demanding construction projects
Experience in a professional project environment, ideally in a larger construction company
Strong understanding of economic contexts and technical feasibility
Communicative personality with confident appearance towards clients and project partners
Enjoyment in collaborating with different disciplines
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
High initiative as well as pronounced team and client orientation
Fluent German language skills
