Fire Safety Officer 80-100%

Your main tasks
Fire safety:
Fire brigade:
- Contact person for questions regarding operational fire safety
- Monitoring compliance with laws, regulations and instructions; identifying weaknesses and proposing measures to remedy them
- Conducting fire safety inspection rounds in all buildings including documentation
- Accompanying fire police inspections and initiating rectification of deficiencies
- Administration and conducting of fire extinguisher courses to train staff on behaviour in case of fire
- Taking on further fire safety tasks in agreement with the fire safety team
- Support during emergency drills
- Close cooperation with the client representative for fire safety and the technical fire safety specialist
Fire brigade:
- Management member of the company fire brigade
- Material custodian of the fire brigade depot
Your profile
- Completed EFZ training or equivalent
- Certified fire safety officer
- Additional training in fire safety is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in fire safety as well as sound knowledge of the VKF guidelines
- Experience with periodic inspections is an advantage
- Firefighting experience and willingness to participate in the company fire brigade
- Management experience in a fire brigade is an advantage
- Responsible, strong negotiator with the ability to quickly grasp complex interrelationships in a networked environment and act as a link between internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills as well as a structured and independent working style
- Team-oriented and service-minded personality with a high quality awareness, good communication skills and assertiveness
- Good oral and written expression in German, English skills are an advantage
