Job description
The assistant will participate in the academic activities of the ECAV, in their organisation and coordination.
He/she will be particularly responsible for preparing the administrative pathway of the teachings (Federal Courts and Workshops) with the responsible professor and the teachers. He/she will participate in the organisation and marking of exams. He/she will also be responsible for any academic activity related to the ECAV's training policy.
He/she will also be in charge of supervising the students.
He/she will have at least 50% of their time for preparing a doctoral thesis.
Required degree and skills
Bachelor's and master's degree in law from a Swiss university, with a good overall average.
Passing the ECAV is an advantage.
Perfect command of French (spoken and written). Good knowledge of German, allowing the reading of legal texts, is an asset.
Very good computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
Organisational skills and initiative, methodology and rigour, analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Good adaptability, good stress resistance, ability to work in a team, listening skills and good interpersonal skills.

Duration of employment :
The candidate will be employed on a two-year contract which may be renewed for two successive periods, respectively of two years and one year. The maximum duration of the assistant position is five years. The first year constitutes a probationary period during which the employment relationship may be terminated subject to a three-month notice period for the end of a month.
