To complete our team of the Hospitality Service at the Regional Hospital of Lugano, we are looking for a
Restaurant and Self-service Staff (100%)
Profile:
- Service in restaurant, cafeteria, kiosk, catering and events;
- Operational contact during the shift and coordination of activities;
- Supervision of service and compliance with quality standards;
- Organisation of activities and management of priorities in case of high demand, absences or unforeseen events;
- Support to colleagues in managing operational issues;
- Control of order, cleanliness, hygiene and safety of workspaces;
- Management of products, supplies, expiry dates, orders and storage;
- Welcoming and assisting customers;
- Reporting problems and anomalies to the manager, with proposals for possible solutions;
- Verification of the correct tidying of premises, workstations, materials and equipment at the end of the shift.
Required qualifications:
- Training or professional experience in the catering sector;
- Experience in customer service;
- Good organisational and priority management skills;
- Teamwork aptitude and good interpersonal skills;
- Autonomy, reliability and sense of responsibility;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure;
- Good IT skills;
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures in the catering sector;
- Knowledge of national languages and experience in a hospital environment are considered an advantage.
