a CNC Setter (M/F/D) 100%
Your tasks
The setter carries out adjustment work on specific installations and/or machines to ensure the production of products. He or she is responsible for correcting and controlling manufacturing processes. He or she guarantees manufacturing quality, respect for deadlines, and productivity. He or she may be required to work in several sectors.
Production
- Adjust one or more machines
- Monitor production (start-up, follow-up, supply)
- Manage first-level maintenance
- Intervene in case of "simple" breakdowns
- Contact the maintenance service in case of breakdown
- Complete production monitoring documents within the complex and collaborate closely with the system
- Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation
- Load & unload machines
- Propose solutions to improve Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance
Quality & Control
- Correct all deviations in the manufacturing process
- Carry out part inspections according to instructions and/or documents
- Clean and maintain machines
- Ensure the proper functioning of tooling from the start to the end of the series.
Hygiene & Safety
- Respect, know and apply hygiene and safety rules
- Apply the safety charter.
Communication & Training
- Participate in continuous improvement (CIP, working group)
- Collaborate with operators
- Communicate all issues to their hierarchical superior
- Support their superior and the company in internal training.

Basic and ongoing training
- Federal VET Diploma in a mechanical trade or equivalent training
- Experience in machine adjustments desired
- Mastery of conventional control devices
- Reading technical drawings
- Basic computer knowledge (data entry).
Start of activity: immediately
Contract type: Maximum Duration Contract (MDC) 1 year potentially renewable
Working hours: 2x8 shift, open to night work without rotation
Workplace: Vallorbe
