What you will do here
- Participate in wildlife ecological research projects, focusing on native wild ungulates, gallinaceous birds, disturbance ecology & monitoring
- Organize and conduct field operations in coordination with project managers (observations, disturbance experiments, recording human activities, monitoring)
- Digitize, prepare & analyze collected data. Write research reports
- Support lecturers in teaching
- Guide and supervise interns and students within ongoing research projects
What you ideally bring
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Environmental/Natural Sciences or similar with a focus on wildlife ecology
- Experience in conducting scientific work with native wildlife using various field survey methods
- Good knowledge of statistics, R applications, GIS. Ideally completed course in wildlife immobilization (WTK 1)
- Time flexibility, willingness to stay overnight away from home
- You have a driving license (category B)
