Apprenticeship for Care Specialist EFZ specialising in People with Disabilities

At visoparents, we create spaces where children with and without disabilities can grow, learn, and feel comfortable. To achieve this, we need people who think ahead, take responsibility, and reliably organise everyday life.

The Kita Kinderhaus Imago cares for children with and without disabilities from 3 months old. Our integrative concept is unique in Switzerland: half of the places are reserved for children with a disability, a (rare) illness and/or behavioural difficulties.

We offer apprenticeships from 1 August 2027 at Kinderhaus Imago Dübendorf.

• You will learn to care for, accompany, and support the development of children with and without disabilities
• Together with the team, you actively shape the children’s daily routine
• Household tasks are also part of your training routine and give you insights into organising group daily life
• Step by step, you will get to know the nursing support and accompaniment of children and gradually take on more responsibility

• A secondary school leaving certificate at level A or B
• Interest and joy in working with young children
• Empathy as well as a respectful and appreciative attitude towards others
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility, combined with a reliable way of working
• Flexibility, resilience, and openness to new challenges
