Laboratory Technician

Clinical Pharmacology advises other clinics on questions regarding drug theory and drug safety and conducts clinical studies with pharmaceuticals. For our LC-MS laboratory, we are looking for a motivated laboratory technician who competently and dedicatedly supports us in performing LC-MS analyses. What to expect

• Sample preparation and execution of LC-MS/MS measurements to quantify drugs and their metabolites in biological matrices
• Measurement and data analysis of samples from clinical studies and the clinical-pharmacological specialised consultation (phenotyping of CYP450 isoenzymes)
• Collaboration on ongoing research projects in the field of drug metabolism/toxicity and in vivo biomarkers
• Support with cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment

What you bring

• Training as a laboratory technician EFZ (or another scientific discipline) or a bachelor’s degree in biology, biomedical research, pharmacy (or other scientific field)
• Interest in quantitative bioanalytical methods (LC-MS experience is welcome but not a prerequisite)
• Teamwork skills and organisational talent
• Precise, independent and efficient working style
• Good English skills; applications in English are also welcome
