About the job
Are you technically skilled, enjoy tinkering, and quickly understand how something works?
Then you might be a good fit for us – even if you are not a trained bicycle mechanic.
YouMo is a Swiss company in the e-bike and cargo bike sector. We assemble XCYC cargo bikes, repair various e-bikes, and operate the repair and spare parts service for Go SwissDrive systems.
To strengthen our team in Rapperswil-Jona, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a technically proficient and reliable person.
What awaits you with us
- Repair and service of e-bikes
- Assembly and replacement of mechanical and electrical components
- Installation and removal of motors and wheels
- Assembly of XCYC cargo bikes, assemblies, and customised builds
- Spoking and unspoking wheels
- Troubleshooting as well as quality and final inspection
Depending on experience and interest, you will gradually work your way into more complex e-bike systems and repairs.
What you bring with you
For us, your exact professional qualification is not decisive, but your technical understanding and how you work.
You should:
- be technically and manually skilled
- quickly understand new processes
- work carefully and efficiently
- work independently and in a structured manner
- be reliable and a team player
- be confident with computers and digital work systems
- have very good German language skills
Experience with bicycles or e-bikes is an advantage but not a requirement.
Career changers from other technical fields are expressly welcome.
ERP or Odoo knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement. What is important is that you feel confident handling digital work processes.
