The Chair of Chinese Culture and Society is intensively engaged with China and East Asia.
Your tasks
- Independent organisation of the secretariat including handling emails and managing appointments
- Complete financial administration for the chair
- Communication and coordination of contacts within the chair and outside the university
- Assistance in organising events, conferences and other activities of the chair
- Support for the management of the public programme
- Maintenance of the chair's website
Your profile
- We are looking for a reliable individual accustomed to working independently.
- You have good oral and written German and English skills.
- Solid PC skills in various software programmes (good Excel skills are essential), precise working methods and a quick grasp are also indispensable requirements.
- Additionally, teamwork and empathy in dealing with lecturers and students are important prerequisites for this position.
- Knowledge of university operations is an advantage.
