About the job

In this role, you actively shape software development in the hardware-near environment for highly precise applications on our machines using AI tools.

• Analysis, design, and implementation of software for mechatronic systems in a hardware-near environment with real-time requirements
• Implementation of automated tests as well as verification and debugging of software using test systems and directly on the machine
• Use of modern AI-supported development tools throughout the entire software lifecycle
• Conducting and participating in design and code reviews as well as creating the corresponding documentation
• Active collaboration in a Scrum team as well as interdisciplinary cooperation in the project with other departments and other locations

You are passionate about technology and want to contribute your know-how in an innovative environment? Then ideally you bring the following:

• Completed studies (FH/University/ETH) in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or a comparable field
• Good knowledge of C++, UML, OO design, and OO programming
• Knowledge of C#, Python, LUA, and web technologies is an advantage
• Proven practical experience with modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or comparable platforms
• Ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated code
• Good knowledge of prompt engineering for large language models
• Innovative spirit, initiative, analytical thinking, solution-oriented action, and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Very good communication skills in German and English
