Head of Financial Services

Field of activity
Within the Administrative Directorate, you ensure the strategic and operational management (financial accounting, creditors, debtors) of the financial services department
Development of a strategy for the department and implementation thereof
Management of the department's human resources (approximately 15 people)
Closing of accounts and preparation of supporting documents
Specific financial monitoring and expert assessments, preparation of various statements and compilation of statistics
Monitoring relationships with the department's external partners (fiduciaries, banks, State of Fribourg, Confederation)
Expert and sparring partner for the administrative management
Contribution to the overall strategic vision of the University’s finances
Contribution to the development of the financial plan and the annual budget
Requirements
You have training in finance and accounting (at least a diploma) and have completed continuing postgraduate training in financial expertise and controlling
Confidence in analysing results and management control
Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA software and office tools (Microsoft 365)
Several years of experience in project management and team leadership
Knowledge of public administration processes or willingness to train in this area
Excellent command of French or German with very good knowledge of the other language
Language requirements
French and/or German
