Employee Administration Department Secretariat
Department Secretariat, Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs | 80–100 % | Chur
The Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs (DVS) comprises eight offices with a diverse range of activities and around 500 employees. The department secretariat is the staff unit in the DVS. A team of 13 employees supports the head of the department in all professional, legal, leadership-related and political matters and ensures effective cooperation with the offices.
We are looking for an employee for administration for our department secretariat from 1 August 2026 (or by arrangement) and look forward to strengthening our three-person administration team.
Your area of responsibility
- Completion of all administrative tasks as well as general correspondence
- Support in processing government decisions, departmental orders, penalty orders, messages, parliamentary initiatives, consultations, draft laws and publications
- Processing of complaint and criminal proceedings including file management, deadline control, invoicing and debt collection
- Incoming and outgoing mail including data entry in the administrative programme CMI
- Telephone and reception service
- Organisation of appointments and meetings
What we expect from you
- Completed commercial training as well as several years of professional experience
- Quick comprehension, structured, independent and precise way of working
- Reliability, discretion and sense of responsibility
- Team spirit, flexibility, resilience and service-oriented manner
- Confident German language skills, knowledge of another cantonal language is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office
