By building a caring community and offering services for children, young people and families, the foundation provides advice, community and practical help for life. The foundation finances its services through the management of its attractive properties. We are tasked with addressing a structured, strategically minded and team-oriented personality as Head of Property Management (80 - 100 %) and member of the Executive Management. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you are responsible for managing the property portfolio, balancing market-oriented and social objectives, and leading the commercial and technical team. This includes rentals including initial lettings, maintenance and management as well as facility management. For construction projects, you ensure operational requirements are met and are responsible for the handover of new buildings into operational use. You enjoy further developing processes, systems and organisation and contribute to the strategic direction of the foundation.
You have a higher education qualification in property or facility management or a comparable qualification. Crucial are your several years of experience in personnel management as well as in managing a demanding property portfolio. You bring sound knowledge of tenancy and ancillary cost law, technical understanding as well as financial competence and market knowledge. Experience with construction or renovation projects is an advantage. Ideally, you are familiar with the environment of non-profit organisations and are keen on communal living forms. Personally, you convince through independence, enthusiasm for shaping, teamwork and resilience at executive management level. You feel connected to the Christian values of the organisation and approach them with openness and respect.
