Logistics Employee
The Operations and Site Logistics department is responsible for the material supply of instrument production in Rotkreuz. It also handles the loading of manufactured products for shipping. For these tasks, the department is looking for motivated logisticians with the profile below.The main tasks include: Assisting in goods receipt, material handling and shippingReceiving and checking shipments and booking goods receipt shipments in SAPRepacking and labelling material into defined containersStoring material in the storage locationMaterial replenishment from the storage location to the workplacesDistribution of material to delivery locations using forklift truck / fast moversPacking and system-based processing of deliveries and production ordersPicking according to pick list and loading according to loading list of finished productsSorting and compiling printed delivery notes and order documentsAssisting or providing support in other activities in Operations and Site Logistics as neededWe expect:Must Haves:Completed training as a logistics specialist EFZAt least 2 years of professional experience in a production logistics environmentOffice and SAP knowledge, experience with logistics systems such as automated storage technology is an advantageVery good German skills in spoken and written form (B2), English skills are an advantageForklift licenceGood communication skills with internal customers and suppliersExperience in handling adjacent interfaces Nice to haves:Basic training in Lean such as White / Yellow Belt in Lean Six SigmaHandling of hazardous goods and refrigerated goodsNetworked thinking regarding the conflict of objectives between process quality while complying with all safety regulations, compliance guidelines and industry standardsIdentifying problems and independently developing and implementing a sustainable solution by applying Lean methods (continuous improvement processes)We offer:Modern companyAttractive employment conditionsPossibility of extending the one-year temporary assignmentContemporary social benefitsMotivated teamProfessional support before, during and after the assignment
