About noimos

noimos emerged from AXA in 2021 and is now an independent company in Zurich. Around 30 people from insurance and technology develop AI here for motor vehicle damage processing: from assessing vehicle and glass damage to checking cost estimates. The principle is simple: the garage submits a cost estimate and photos. The AI checks whether the repair method and damage match. Clear cases go through, unclear ones go to the expert. To ensure our models decide as well as the best vehicle experts, we need you. You are the first person with expertise background in the company, and the team is looking forward to you.

How you create value

• You are the technical contact person for our Product Managers and ML Engineers and translate your knowledge of repair, calculation and damage assessment into our products and AI models. Your assessment becomes the standard from which the models learn.
• Together with our Product Managers, you are the link to the vehicle experts of our customers. You conduct regular exchange sessions and bring their feedback together with the Product Team into our solutions.
• You check what the AI suggests and show where it is right and where it is not.
• You support our Machine Learning Engineers in creating case sets, write rules and instructions, and coach the team that handles the simpler cases.
• You regularly exchange ideas with the vehicle experts of our customers. Two to three times a year you are on site abroad for a workshop or to review cases together.

What makes you the ideal candidate

• You have a technical basic education in the vehicle sector, for example in automotive mechatronics or bodywork, and practical experience in a workshop or body shop.
• You have worked for several years as a vehicle or damage expert, at an insurance company, an expertise office or in the insurance department of a garage group.
• You are confident in calculating with Audatex, GT Motive or DAT.
• You enjoy working with tech people. You do not need to programme.
• You plan independently how you contribute and drive your topics forward independently over a longer period.
• You explain technical matters so that even someone without a workshop background understands.
• You speak fluent German and good English. French or Italian is a plus.
