Did you know that you can complete an exciting and varied apprenticeship in a modern laundry? Professional textile care involves much more than just washing: modern technology, different textiles, quality control and responsibility are all part of it.
From August 2027, we will train an apprentice as a Textile Care Specialist EFZ, Laundry Specialisation. During your three-year training, you will learn the entire process of professional textile care from receiving and sorting laundry, through modern washing and drying methods, to quality control and delivery.

Your tasks
During your three-year training, you will get to know all areas of professional textile care. These include, among others:
Receiving, sorting and preparing various textiles
Operating and monitoring modern washing, drying and finishing equipment
Applying different washing and care procedures depending on the type of textile
Checking textiles for quality and cleanliness
Folding, packing and preparing laundry for delivery
Assisting with the care and maintenance of machines
Adhering to hygiene, quality and safety regulations
Getting to know the processes of a modern laundry and participating in day-to-day business
Your profile
Completed secondary or intermediate school
Good oral and written German skills (B2)
Enjoyment in operating machines and practical, manual work
Technical understanding
Interest in textiles as well as chemistry and environmental topics
Reliable, careful and team-oriented working style
Your apprenticeship lasts 3 years and leads to the Federal VET Diploma (EFZ). You will attend the vocational school "STF Swiss Textile School" in Winterthur as well as inter-company courses and apply what you have learned directly in our company.
