At the strategically important base in Olten, we are looking for several police officers as part of an expansion. You will strengthen the existing team and ensure, through citizen-oriented police work, that people feel safe on public transport. Instead of administrative routine, the focus is on deployment close to the action – across cantonal borders and embedded in a strong, appreciative team. Attractive working conditions are important to us – even with irregular working hours. Thanks to clearly regulated rest periods and only a few night shifts, it is easy to balance work and private life with the SBB Transport Police. You can choose your workload flexibly between 40-100%, and there is no residency requirement. Night and weekend work is additionally compensated, e.g. with CHF 16.- per hour for Sunday work as well as time surcharges of 10-30% for night shifts. • As a police officer of the SBB Transport Police, you ensure safety, calm and order together with over 200 colleagues nationwide at stations and on public transport of various transport companies.
• Your focus is on uniformed patrol services in transport vehicles, stations and on the premises of transport companies.
• In your role, you make a significant contribution to the safety of travellers and staff in public transport.
• During police interventions, you take responsibility within the team and in cooperation with partner organisations – also at major events.
• You work situation-oriented and are always at the pulse of what is happening in public transport.
• In building up the team, you contribute actively and help shape it.

• As a team player, you appreciate collaboration on equal terms and actively contribute to the team.
• You present yourself openly, respectfully and professionally and meet customers with a strong service orientation.
• You hold the federal professional certificate Police Officer I as well as sound police tactical and technical knowledge.
• Very good oral and written German skills distinguish you; knowledge of a second national language is an advantage.
• You handle digital work tools confidently and responsibly and use them purposefully in everyday operations.
