Medvadis AG operates five medical centres in Urdorf, Dietikon, Schlieren, Birmensdorf and Engstringen and stands for a connected, patient-centred and interdisciplinary primary care.

In our medical centre in Birmensdorf, general medicine, gynaecology and paediatrics work hand in hand. This creates a medical environment in which families are supported through various life stages. To further develop this offering, we are looking for a committed specialist paediatrician.

• Independent outpatient care of infants, children and adolescents
• Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases across the entire spectrum of outpatient paediatrics
• Conducting preventive and developmental checks as well as assessing physical and psychosocial development
• Vaccination advice and administration according to current Swiss recommendations
• Advising parents and caregivers on health, developmental and preventive issues
• Long-term support of children and adolescents and their families
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration with our general practitioners as well as other specialists and external partners
• Shaping and further developing our paediatric services

• Specialist title in paediatrics or equivalent recognition in Switzerland
• Professional practice licence or fulfilment of the corresponding requirements
• Solid clinical experience in outpatient paediatrics is an advantage
• Independent, structured and patient- and family-oriented working style
• Enjoyment in working with children and adolescents of different age groups and their families
• Strong communication skills, empathy and sense of responsibility
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Very good German skills; additional languages are an advantage

• Close collaboration with general medicine, gynaecology and other specialties within a family medicine care concept
