About the job
The Vocational Training Centre for Business, IT and Technology (BBZW) is the centre of expertise for commercial and technical professions. As the site manager caretaker, you will take operational responsibility for the Emmen site and, together with your team, ensure the safe and smooth operation of the buildings and outdoor facilities.
Your tasks
- You independently and proactively organise and carry out the maintenance, repair and cleaning of the interior and exterior building areas.
- You lead a small team consisting of a maintenance specialist and two cleaners and additionally take on deputy duties for the Facility Management leadership.
- As the safety officer (SiBe) for the Emmen site, you are responsible for inspections, maintenance, evacuation drills and occupational safety.
- You process construction applications and manage the locking system in a structured and precise manner.
- You maintain an active, solution-oriented exchange with internal departments such as Facility Management leadership, school management and school administration as well as with external partners.
Your profile
- You have completed a basic craft training and further qualified with the Federal Specialist Certificate in Caretaking.
- You possess advanced expertise in building maintenance and outdoor facilities and work confidently with M365.
- You are characterised by communication skills, flexibility and organisational strength.
- You like to take responsibility, work independently and make balanced and pragmatic decisions.
- A category B driving licence completes your profile and enables you to travel flexibly between sites.
