The WABE Foundation supports adult people with cognitive, psychological, or physical impairments and offers 38 residential places, 30 day care centers, and 20 sheltered workplaces. For over 30 years in Wald, we have been committed with heart and professionalism to quality of life, self-determination, and social participation. In the Daycare Studio, individual basic and musical offers, creative activities such as felting, painting, pasting, punching, kneading, baking, etc., as well as the promotion of movement and perception for people with impairments are the focus. In the Paper Studio, creative products made of paper are created: from greeting cards to sophisticated unique pieces. The activities are tailored to the abilities and development possibilities of the respective supported employees and range from simple work steps to complex processes. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a team leader 80% for the Daycare Studio & Paper Studio starting 01.10.2025 or by arrangement. Your tasks
- You have completed training in social pedagogy or a comparable field
- You take over the professional, organizational, and personnel management of the Daycare and Paper Studios with a total of nine specialists
- At the two locations, you are responsible for supporting around 20 people with cognitive, psychological, or multiple impairments
- In addition to your leadership role, you actively engage in both studios and take on responsible tasks in direct care, including lunch supervision, nursing activities, and taking over the responsibility of key persons
- With your commitment, you promote the individual development of the supported employees and create space for self-determination and participation in everyday life
- You have completed training in social pedagogy or a comparable field
- You bring solid experience in supporting people with cognitive, psychological, or multiple impairments
- Your leadership skills are based on proven experience in team management
