These are your tasks
- Responsible for adjustments in the process control system (PCS) during new construction, conversion and expansion projects and planning new plant components and process steps
- Plan and implement small to complex control and automation projects in our power plant facilities
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults in electrical and electronic controls
- Carry out maintenance, optimisation and renewal work on PCS, PLC controls and power electronics
- Support, parameterise and configure plant-specific hardware and software
- Maintain documentation and operating instructions and contribute to the continuous improvement of the plants
- Perform on-call duty (4-6 times a year)
This is what sets you apart
- Basic training with a Federal VET Diploma as an automation technician, electronics technician or electrical installer, ideally with further training as an automation specialist or further training in measurement, control and regulation technology
- Experience in automation, measurement, control and regulation technology or strong interest in working into the field
- Enjoy systematic fault finding as well as technical challenges in complex plants
- Knowledge of PLC, process control or automation systems (e.g. Siemens, ABB 800xA) as well as IT and OT infrastructures is an advantage
- Independent and solution-oriented working style as well as enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration with various partners
