The Vaud Centre for Anorexia and Bulimia (abC) is the result of a collaboration between the Department of Public Health and Social Affairs, the University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV), and the Northern Vaud Hospital Establishments (eHnv).
Under the medical responsibility of the CHUV (Liaison Psychiatry Service of the Department of Psychiatry), the abC is intended for adolescents and adults suffering from these psychopathologies and is spread over two sites, in Lausanne, "abC – Lausanne-CHUV space" (community, outpatient and intermediate activities), and at the St-Loup Hospital of the eHnv, "abC - St-Loup space" (hospital unit). In this context:
THE HOSPITAL UNIT "ABC – ST-LOUP SPACE" IS LOOKING FOR
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the administrative management of the medical secretariat
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of private consultations and patient files
- Typing discharge letters from the hospital unit and managing follow-up letters until their final validation and dispatch
- Support the responsible doctors and psychologists in their activities
- Participate in the organisation and smooth running of the unit
REQUIRED SKILLS – QUALIFICATIONS
- Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a commercial or paramedical employee
- Medical secretary diploma required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical practice or hospital environment
- Proficiency in common and specialised IT tools (Word – Excel – Outlook – Opale – Soarian)
- Mastery of medical terminology, French language, excellent spelling and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise
