As Team Leader (m/f/d) Production Environment Controlled Area (ECA) you are responsible for the timely and high-quality production of semi-finished and finished products. You lead a production team in a two-shift operation, promote the professional development of employees, and actively contribute to the continuous optimization of production processes.
A typical workday in this role includes:
Ensuring the timely and quality-compliant production and inspection of semi-finished and finished products
Complete and traceable documentation in the ERP system (SAP) and on the order papers
Conducting Device History Record (DHR) reviews
Arranging maintenance and servicing of production equipment
Technical and disciplinary leadership of an assigned production team
Conducting cross-trainings for employee development (also cross-departmental)
Active participation in the performance evaluation process
Implementation and follow-up of CAPAs and change controls
Identification and implementation of improvement potentials using LEAN methods
Participation in cross-departmental projects and problem-solving
Ensuring the availability of orders, materials, tools, and measuring instruments
Personnel deployment planning and cross-departmental resource support
WHAT YOU BRING TO ALCON:
Completed vocational or precision mechanical training or many years of practical experience
In-depth knowledge of products and production processes
Confident handling of Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP)
Technical understanding and quick comprehension of complex contexts
Experience in guiding, training, and leading employees
High personal responsibility and organizational skills
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Loyalty, confidentiality, and role model function
Very good German skills (spoken and written), English skills are an advantage
