For over 100 years, Louis Ditzler AG has been producing and distributing frozen vegetables, frozen fruits, and chestnut specialties throughout Switzerland. As a market-leading production company, we support our regional cultivation partners from sowing to harvest and place our efforts for sustainable production at the centre. Our range is complemented by selected fruit raw materials, for example for yoghurt or ice cream.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start date for a

Deputy Head of Quality Management/Quality Assurance (80-100%)

In this responsible role, you will support the QM/QA management in ensuring and further developing our quality and food safety standards. You will take on an important interface function between quality assurance, production, and technology and represent the QM/QA management in their absence.

Your tasks:

• You will further develop our QM system according to IFS Food as well as our HACCP concepts
• You will prepare internal and external audits as well as customer and label audits, accompany these, and take on the follow-up work
• You will assess quality deviations and manage the corresponding corrective measures
• You will handle customer complaints and support traceability, recalls, and returns
• You will take over document control and maintain our QM system with IQ-Soft
• You will contribute to Food Defence, Food Fraud, and Management Review

Your profile:

• You have training or a degree in food technology, food sciences, or a comparable qualification
• You bring several years of experience in QM/QA in the food production industry
• You have sound knowledge of IFS Food, HACCP, and Swiss food law
• You have experience with audits as well as handling deviations and improvement measures
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner
• You convince through leadership skills, assertiveness, and strong communication
