About the job
"Fugu" day nurseries are a private enterprise aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our nursery is located in the Höngg district in the city of Zurich. We have 380 m2 of bright, modern premises and a 50 m2 large terrace available. Large and beautiful playgrounds are located in the immediate vicinity. Due to the central location, our nursery is easily accessible by public transport. Our cook provides delicious and healthy meals daily for the children and all staff. The nursery is organised into 4 groups. Opening hours are from 7:15 am to 6:15 pm.
How brave are you? Working with children is full of life and you will certainly never be bored. As an intern, you gain your first experiences in the professional world. We accompany you on your path with care and empathy and support you with our expertise. You will learn the basics of childcare and may gradually take on more responsibility. It is important to us that your backpack is full of knowledge and experience by the end of the internship year. This way, you will feel ready to start training as a childcare professional.
TASKS
• Collaborate in the meaningful and appropriate organisation of daily life
• Support the group leader in managing the children’s group according to the educational principles of "Fugu" day nurseries
• Gather initial professional experience under guidance
• Co-organise celebrations, festivals, and events
REQUIREMENTS
• Completed compulsory schooling
• Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Reliable and resilient
• Self-reflection, willingness to develop further
• Good manners
