Movement and Sports Therapist (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Care of patients in the Centre for Integrated Prevention and Rehabilitation (iPR) in the fields of oncology, pneumology, metabolism and cardiology
• Management and implementation of various therapy and exercise programmes such as strength training (MTT), ergometer, water, outdoor and relaxation therapy
• Conducting sports cardiological performance diagnostics (spiroergometry) as well as planning individual therapy goals with motivating advice on lifestyle changes
• Documentation of treatments, writing reports as well as informing and advising patients on the ward
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration within the medical-therapeutic team for holistic patient care

Profile

• Completed Master’s degree in Sports Science (focus on prevention and rehabilitation) or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with SRK recognition
• Experience in caring for patients with oncological and pneumological diseases and ideally further training in sports therapy for cancer patients
• Knowledge of performance diagnostics, especially spiroergometry and ECG interpretation
• Strong team skills, enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as the ability to motivate and guide patients
• High initiative, willingness to innovate and flexibility in dealing with changing requirements
