Shape our central data hub decisively: You develop robust data solutions, connect internal and external data sources, thereby creating a reliable foundation that enables the specialist departments to use data and information easily and independently.

Your field of activity

• You design, develop and operate robust, scalable data pipelines and data solutions together with AI/Data Scientists and Platform Engineers
• You play a key role in shaping the central data hub and bring together internal and external data sources for different use cases
• You model and transform data so that it is reliable, consistent and usable for various use cases
• You provide data and data products in such a way that specialist departments can use them easily and as independently as possible for their use cases
• You take responsibility for data quality, monitoring, testing and comprehensible documentation along the data value chain
• Across organisations, you further develop digital solutions with specialist departments, AI/Data Scientists and Platform Engineers and support Kafka-based streaming solutions

What you bring with you

• You bring several years of practical experience in data engineering and a good understanding of modern data and platform architectures
• You work confidently with Python, SQL, ETL/ELT and data pipelines; in addition, you know as many of our technologies as possible: Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Git and CI/CD
• Experience in developing and using interfaces and APIs also forms part of your technical foundation
• You translate requirements from the specialist departments with product thinking into sustainable technical solutions and work operationally on their implementation yourself
• Interdisciplinary, cross-organisational collaboration and agile working methods are familiar to you from practice
• Good German and English skills as well as the willingness to build a comprehensive understanding of the electricity and distribution network industry complete your profile
