About the job
Your Tasks
With us, you will receive structured and comprehensive training in all areas of cardiology. Confirmed planned rotations:
- Outpatient clinic with a practical spectrum: echocardiography, Holter ECG, ergometry including spiroergometry,
- Echocardiography lab for inpatient patients as well as PET imaging,
- Cardiological outpatient rehabilitation,
- Cardiac catheterisation laboratory.
With good qualifications and longer employment, further specialised rotations for 3 to 6 months:
- Rhythmology including EP lab and extended pacemaker consultation,
- Advanced rotation in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory with insight into structural interventions and complex PCI,
- Advanced imaging including insight into cardiac MRI and advanced echocardiographic imaging including TEE and stress echocardiography,
- Intensive care unit,
- Possibly insight into a practice.
You will care for inpatient and outpatient patients under the supervision of our senior physicians and actively participate in handovers, ward rounds, and our extensive training programme according to SIWF guidelines.
Your Profile
As a committed, communicative personality, you value collegial and constructive collaboration. You hold a Swiss medical diploma or a diploma recognised by MEBEKO and are aiming for the specialist title in cardiology. Clinical experience in general internal medicine of at least 2 years and 6 months in cardiology is desirable. We offer you high-quality training with many continuing education hours, modern working time models, and a friendly, collegial environment. The workload is 100%, part-time (80%) is possible.
