Then you are exactly right with us: As Chef Event / Sous-Chef (m/f/d) 100%, you will take responsibility for all culinary processes in the event area. Whether flying dinner, set menu, or apéro riche, you ensure with your know-how, your calmness, and your love for detail that every event is tastefully convincing and runs smoothly.
Your mission:
- Independent management of the event kitchen, taking into account the requirements from the head chefs regarding product quality, profitability, and personnel deployment
- Ensuring a high-quality and innovative food preparation for events with up to 900 guests
- Development of an innovative, contemporary menu offering incorporating current food trends
- Financial co-responsibility for the kitchen budget (food costs, employee costs, inventory, equipment, etc.)
- Continuous optimization of internal operational processes and process definitions
- Building, maintaining, controlling, and optimizing the house suppliers
- Responsibility for the ordering system, conducting the monthly inventory, continuous control of deliveries and storage
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements regarding work and food safety
- Training and further education, including regular training for all kitchen staff
- Co-management of the à la carte kitchen for the Imi Bar and Brasserie with 130 seats
- Deputizing for the head chef in their absence, including leading the à la carte kitchen
What makes you stand out:
- Completed training as a cook (EFZ) and several years of professional experience in upscale gastronomy or hospitality with high guest volume, ideally with initial leadership responsibility
- Distinctive craftsmanship and a good eye for details
- Passion and enthusiasm for all facets of culinary arts
- High organizational skills, creativity, calculation security, as well as quality and cost awareness characterize you
- You are decisive, responsible, and resilient
- Flexible working hours, including weekends, are a matter of course for you

- In dealing with guests and colleagues, you always present yourself as exemplary, respectful, and courteous
- You speak fluent German and English
