The technology is proven; the next challenge is bringing it to serial production. About the job:
As an experienced industrialisation engineer, your main activity will be to drive KOMP-ACT’s transition from prototype manufacturing into serial production of electric linear motors.

Job main activities:
- Lead the industrialisation process from prototype through to production ramp-up.
- Contribute to new product development with a focus on manufacturability.
- Establish quality processes (FMEA) covering both design and production.
- Set up production methodology that ensures high level of standardisation of the product.
- Define and document assembly and quality processes.
- Establish complete product and quality traceability.
- Interact with suppliers for quotations, lead-time, quality, etc…
- Design and implement production steps and workstation scalable for volume growth.
You will also:
- Contribute to the design and development of new products.
- Design mechanical parts for new models of motors and/or accessories.
Desired profile:
- Mechanical engineer (HES, EPF) or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in industrialisation/production.
- Ability to see the big picture while remaining attentive to detail.
- Hands-on approach to the job.
- Good understanding of electronics, electric motors, electromagnetic systems, mechatronics, and automation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate colleagues and external partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with other team members and suppliers.
- Experience in CAD and mechanical design.
- Familiar with high-precision systems with tolerance constraints.
- Knowledge in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Good command of French and English.
- Driving licence.
- Experience working in Switzerland.
Will be considered as a plus:
- Experience with electric motor.
- Experience with modern manufacturing (One Piece Flow, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, ISO certification, etc…).
- Understanding of mechanical systems under both static and dynamic loading (stress, deformation, fatigue, vibration).
- Personal experience in mechanical workshop (machining, milling, etc…).
- Other relevant technical knowledges.
- Knowledge of Italian and other languages.
- Good sense of humour.
