Logistics Operator / Forklift Warehouse Operative

Order preparation, forklift driving and working on a cherry picker at the logistics platform of a B2B distributor in Renens. Temporary full-time assignment, hours from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm, start as soon as possible.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a distribution company established in French-speaking Switzerland, supplying professionals: craftsmen, businesses and industry. Its logistics platform in western Lausanne receives orders during the day and ships them the same evening.

YOUR TASKS

• Prepare orders using a scanner, by unit, parcel and pallet.
• Drive the forklift for stocking and loading vehicles.
• Work on a cherry picker for picking and storing items at height.
• Receive and check incoming goods, organise the merchandise.
• Pack, label and palletise shipments.
• Participate in inventories and keep the warehouse tidy.

CONDITIONS

• Monday to Friday, from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm.
• Temporary full-time assignment, Aptia mission contract.
• Start as soon as possible.
• Warehouse in Renens, on-site parking, accessible by public transport.
• Safety shoes mandatory.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience in order preparation, warehousing or logistics.
• Valid forklift licence; cherry picker licence is an advantage.
• Available quickly for the stated hours.
• French spoken and read.
• Ability to carry loads up to 25 kg, standing work.
