This role requires willingness to work shifts on a weekly rotation (05:00–14:00 and 14:00–23:00) as well as regular Saturday shifts (05:00–14:00)
Transport Dispatcher
Tasks
- The economically optimal scheduling of rail and road transports (food and non-food) for the whole of Switzerland is in your hands
- To guarantee timely delivery to distribution centres and sales outlets, you manage loading and unloading times and monitor the picking process
- In addition to managing the staging areas, you take care of general administrative tasks and ensure smooth information flow with internal and external interfaces
Requirements
- The basis for this position is your completed training in the forwarding or logistics sector (e.g. logistics specialist with a federal VET diploma, driver) combined with several years of professional experience and confident MS Office skills
- You are characterised by an independent working style, resilience and flexibility, with very good German skills being essential and French an advantage
