Head of Analytics, EMEA
Aon is seeking a Head of EMEA Analytics for our Reinsurance Solutions division.
Join our industry-leading team and play a key role in getting results for our clients by providing innovative and impactful analytics solutions throughout our EMEA Reinsurance operations.
As the Head of EMEA Analytics, you will serve as both a strategic and operational leader, guiding data-driven strategies, innovation, and business expansion within Aon’s EMEA Reinsurance Actuarial and Catastrophe Modeling teams. This position calls for an accomplished executive with strong experience in analytics leadership, client relations, and developing talent. You’ll oversee a top-performing analytics team, encourage collaboration across functions, and promote a culture focused on excellence and ongoing improvement.
This is a hybrid role and can be based in one of our European offices (e.g.: Hamburg, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Prague, Zurich).
What the day will look like
Strategic & Financial Leadership
- Define and implement the EMEA Reinsurance analytics strategy aligned with Aon’s business objectives.
- Ability to lead teams across multiple areas of expertise including Cat and Actuarial.
- Alongside local and global management drive a vision and strategy that ensure the analytical capabilities of Aon’s EMEA reinsurance business are market leading.
- Drive revenue growth through data innovation, predictive modeling, and actionable insights.
- Lead budgeting and resource allocation for analytics initiatives across EMEA.
Client Engagement & External Impact
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, delivering high-impact analytics solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Ensure delivery of exceptional client value through tailored analytics and data storytelling.
- Represent Aon’s analytics capabilities at industry events and thought leadership forums.
Team Leadership & Internal Collaboration
- Lead and develop a diverse team of analytics professionals across EMEA, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Collaborate with business leaders across solution lines to integrate analytics into core offerings.
- Champion talent development, mentorship, and succession planning within the analytics function.
- Drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities through data-driven insights and collaboration.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Minimum 15 years of experience in analytics, actuarial or cat modelling or related fields, with leadership roles in large organizations.
- Proven success in managing large, geographically dispersed teams and delivering measurable business impact.
- Expertise in predictive modeling, and advanced analytics platforms.
- Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a passion for leading change.
