The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, around 260 employees help shape everyday life in our homes. Do you also enjoy further developing concepts, bringing in new impulses and sustainably shaping the quality of care? Then we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- You accompany and support people with dementia individually and resource-oriented and contribute to their quality of life and self-determination.
- You competently implement nursing measures, regularly take on daily responsibility and ensure careful documentation of the nursing process.
- You bring your professional expertise in the field of dementia specifically into complex care situations and strengthen the teams in the professional handling of dementia-related and challenging behaviour.
- You are responsible for the professional development in the field of dementia, further develop concepts and standards and promote the transfer of current findings into practice.
- You work in early and late shifts until 21:15 and promote professional interdisciplinary collaboration.
Our requirements:
- You have completed training as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland.
- You have completed further training in the field of dementia (e.g. CAS / DAS) and have proven experience in long-term care with a focus on dementia.
- You like to take responsibility, work independently and keep an overview even in complex situations.
- You enjoy working interdisciplinarily, convey your expertise in a practical way and communicate appreciatively and professionally.
- You are confident in using IT systems, ideally have experience with RAI LTCF and have very good German language skills in speaking and writing.
