Münchwilen and Eschlikon in the southern part of the canton of Thurgau. In both locations, we have a parish office. The position in the parish office Eschlikon is to be filled anew. Therefore, we are looking for a
parish minister (80% position)
Depending on your personal situation, a workload of 50% to 80% is conceivable.
Your tasks
Responsibility for the parish office Eschlikon - task-oriented work in a team
Worship services in the churches of Eschlikon and Münchwilen
Worship services and pastoral care in a regional residential and care center
Pastoral care and funerals for the districts of Eschlikon and Wallenwil
Religious education and supervision of the confirmation class in Eschlikon
Designing existing and new offerings for all age groups
Team / Collaboration
You will be part of a well-coordinated team, consisting of a female pastor
(80%), a social deacon (80%), a female social deacon in training (TDS), several
catechists, and many dedicated volunteers.
We have a well-equipped and efficient secretariat, and in Münchwilen and Eschlikon, a verger ensures a pleasant atmosphere.
An open-minded and collegial church council creates the best possible
framework conditions.
Your profile
You are a sociable parish minister, perhaps with a family.
You know how to initiate and maintain community-promoting activities.
Your teaching and preaching activities are biblically based.
You proclaim the gospel with enthusiasm, clearly and relevantly.
You are anchored in the Protestant state church.
You can interact with people of different theological orientations.
Further information
Ideally, the position is intended for a chosen parish minister (with residency requirement).
Employment in an employee relationship with later election is possible.
