Psychological Psychotherapist

As part of the medical field of Neuro, the University Clinic for Neurology is one of the three main strategic focuses of the Inselspital Bern and, with over 500 employees, the largest neurological clinic in Switzerland. The task of neuropsychology within the University Neurorehabilitation is the diagnosis and therapy of patients with acquired brain injuries of various aetiologies. To strengthen our outpatient therapy team at the Inselspital location, Wilhelm-Fabry House, we are looking for a new employee.

What to expect

• Conducting neuro-psychotherapeutic therapies in individual and group settings as well as psychotherapeutic measures for coping with illness
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments
• Advising patients and relatives on brain injury- or illness-related deficits, therapies and prognosis, as well as supporting professional reintegration in cooperation with specialised agencies and insurance companies
• Active participation in staff training, involvement in the dissemination of therapy methods, and interest in ongoing research projects

What you bring

• Master's degree in Psychology as well as completed psychotherapy training with a federal specialist title for psychotherapy or equivalent
• Very good experience in neurology and neurorehabilitation, ideally with knowledge in neuropsychological diagnostics, as well as interest in research activities
• Responsible, flexible and resilient personality with high social competence, enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and interest in clinical work with neurological patients
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, good French and English skills in spoken language, as well as profound user knowledge in MS Office and statistical programmes (SPSS, R)
